so, this ornament came about because i hate to organize and my beads are everywhere. well, i strung beads on about 3in to 4in beading string, i folded the beaded strands in half and opened an ornament hook. then i tied a ribbon around the strands and around the hook, put a bit of glue and then tied a bow. there you have a very easy ornament and something you can make if you have a lot of unused beads. enjoy, lisa

christmas ornament
my husband says i'm like walmart, i skip right over thanksgiving and go straight to christmas. i can't help it, i love christmas and face it, thanksgiving isn't that much fun to decorate for. i know some will disagree with me, but i really don't care, i love christmas. so here is the first of many ornaments. i wrapped a strofoam cone in vintage fabric, then cut some headpins down alittle, placed a bead on them, then a dab on glue on the end and shoved it into the fabric and foam. i placed an eyepin in the center and there you have a funky christmas ornament. by the way, this can be found on my etsy page. enjoy lisa

mom's birthday card
well, here's the card. i was playing with paper ripping and layering here. yes, there is a few mistakes with the glitter, but all and all i think it's pretty cute. the sad thing is my mom's birthday was on the 2nd and she still hasn't gotten her card. i have given her present to her and have seen her several times since, but i keep forgetting to give her the card. one day she will get it, it might be next year, but she will get it. lisa

scrapbook embellishments
hello and sorry that i have been gone so long. i have been busy getting ready for a few craft shows. i make lotions and bath products, if you would like to check out my website please click the title or go to www.thealchemyfactory.com. thanks. well i made these wonderful circles using the custom cutting system from creative memories. i love it by the way, i have the circle patterns and the oval patterns (i do use the circle one more, in case you are thinking of getting one). i cut out three different sizes and then torn the edges, then i chalked the edges and were there was a tear the color popped. this are simple to make and can be used in scrapbooking, card making, or whatever. tommorrow i will show you a card i made for my mom using one of these. lisa
