whimsical ink soroity challenge

hello, i'm sorry about the pictures, my small child broke the good camera. to find my giveaway go here. anyway, for the whimsical ink sorority challenge, you need to use, 2 patterned papers, 2 flowers, and at least one stamped image. (to find the challenge, just click on the link). i inked a piece of tissue paper, for the background of my angel. on her wings, i colored them gray, then use distressed stickles. enjoy! lisa

for my giveaway please scroll down to the next post!!!!  hello, and good morning!!!! yea it's a smeared ink blog hop! if you do not know about smeared ink, then please click the link and check them out! there is an awesome group of wonderful stampers over there and we would love for you to join us! something i have learned from this project is not to make it shiny before taking the picture.

i could not make this picture work. i'm so sorry but these two pictures are the best i could get. anyway, i started off with a foam ball, which i painted black. then i took orange tissue paper (by the way, the theme of the hop is orange) and covered the ball (i love elmer's glue). i added the spider from smeared inks' killer bo peep, and a skull and ink blot are from stampitcrazy. then i covered it in gloss. it looks really cool in person though. i can't wait to put it on my tree!

a pretty card

hello, after i made the coupon holder, i decied i really liked the fae and the pink paper together, so i made a card. after i colored the fae i sprayed it with ink, i don't remember what kind though, but it was green though. i also sprayed the under paper with purple ink. i blended some embossing powder for the splatter stamp, which i won from stampitcrazy (wonderful stamps, so visit them). enjoy! lisa

a box

hello, i bought this box at a goodwill, it was blue with a baseball on the nob. i did have a before picture, but it is on my broken computer :(  i sanded down the box then painted it green, re-sanded it, then painted it black, then another sand job. i used some alochol inks on the nob and drawer. i then used pearl ex embossing powder on the top. i used bombshell sugar skull on the sides and the nob. again with the pearl ex embossing powder, which i love cause it is shiny. by the way smeared ink is having a 31 days of halloween, where people will be posting halloween/dead of the dead themed projects everyday for the month of october, clicked the button for more info.  enjoy! lisa

coupon holder

hello again, between computer problems and family issues has kept me away for so long. hopefully i'm back!!!  i made a coupon holder. super cute and super easy. i used faes from smeared ink. to make the holder, i went to my local everything is only a dollar store (which i LOVE) and bought a coupon holder. i then ripped the ugly cover off and used it as a template for my paper. i then glue the coupon holder part to my paper, then placed an eyelet in the middle and ran ribbon through. very easy! something to keep in mind for a stocking stuffer or a small gift. enjoy! lisa
