a little something for the wall
hello, my wonderful lucky 13 followers! yay!!! i have 13 followers, how cool is that!!! thanks ladies!! i used an embroidery ring that i bought at goodwill super cheap, i bought a few of them in different sizes. i plan to showcase different stamps in each. i painted the outside black, and used smeared ink's killer bo peep set, which you can now by individually, but the stock is limited. so hurry, it should be your next stop after you finish reading this post. i used fun flock on the spider for texture.
you should always need texture, it gives your projects that little something. i'm planning on doing a series of these. i can't wait to show y'all the final project. enjoy! lisa

SMEARED INK BLOG HOP!!!!!
hello and welcome back, i'm trying real hard to come back with a vengeance. i used killer bo peep's sheep on my .99c box from my local tractor supply place. i went in to buy rabbit food for harvey the wonder rabbit and found these great boxes, perfect for stamping. so i'm unsure if my camera is not nice or just the coloring isn't made for pictures. i blended bronze pearl ex with white paint, which gives the background sparkle, but didn't come out in the picture. for the fluff on the sheep i used liquid applique, which you can let air dry or heat gun it, i prefere to heat gun it though. i stamped the sheep with brown distress ink. the ribbon came from mayan arts (i think). by the way, it's the same all the way around. enjoy! now get to hopping!!!! and don't forget to join us on the smeared ink forum! lisa
