stamped earring

hello, i made this earring using a fly stamp, wooden nickels i found at hobby lobby, and 2 washers. i wanted these earring to compliment the braclet from a previous post, but the wood grain doesn't match, so each will be worn separately. i've been wanting to make these for a long time, but sadly my drill bit died and i keep forgetting to get a new one. so one day i was starring at my crop-a-dile, and thought what the heck i'll try to punch through the wood with that, it goes through tin. it went throught it like butter! i sealed the stamp with diamond glaze, after putting it under the washer. enjoy!  lisa

peachy keen stamps challenge

hello, this project is for a peachy keen stamps challenge. it can be in any format, it must contain a vintage item, and one stamped image. well, the picture, shoe and button are all vintage. the shoe and the button came from my grandmother's button box. and the picture is of my grandmother and grandfather. when the glass broke out of the picture frame, i saved it and i decorated right on the frame backing. the first picture is what the stamps looked like before i added the glitter to them. the heart is the corner was pink before i added brown ink to it. the glitter is martha stewart's, love it. the wooden disks that the flowers are on, are actually beads, i have just covered the hole with the flowers. i added a little brown ink to the edge of the hummingbird to give it a more vintage feel. the back i painted blue, then with good ole white glue mixed with pearl ex, painted over the blue. enjoy!! lisa

scrap papper and a washer

good morning merry sunshine's. this was made from a washer, some scrap paper, bicone shaped swarovski crystal beads, wire, and leather. i traced around the washer, cut and glued the paper on the washer. to get rid of the paper edges i sanded the edges down. i then sealed the paper. then wrap wire around the washer and tread a cord through, a great necklace that you can very cheaply customize for any outfit. super easy, no excuse for you not to make it, so do it! enjoy, lisa

tea

i just bought and received this wonderful chai tea from the teaman on etsy. it is wonderful. if you are a tea drinker i would fully suggest his tea! it's super tasty. i love chai tea, and considering that i live in the middle of nowhere and to get good chai i have to drive an hour away. i love having it delivered to my door. i boiled 5 bags and put it in the refrigerator and added a little milk and sugar, perfection. it's all a drank yesterday! just click on the title and it will take you to his site, enjoy! lisa
