blog hop with smeared and smudged!!!!!

hello and welcome to the smeared and smudged member blog hop! what, you are not a member? i give you a minute to head on over there and sign up! k, back to my project. my friend leann (who has a blog here, that she just started, so if you have a minute please show her some love, thanks!) got these really cool inks that are supposed to be used on fabric and lace and such (sorry, i can't remember the name of them). i went over to her house to play and of course i can't do things the way they are supposed to be done. first i mixed the inks, cause i'm messy, then i decieced to  try them with stamps. this is the result of my first try! (every try after that didn't work out so well) i love the aged look of this. in the bowl thing the color looked like poo and i was trying to soak up my mess. it turned out to be a cool color.
i love using food cans for storage, but i don't like them plain. i was going to cover the whole thing with paper or fabric first, but i like the look of it uncovered. for this hop, we were supposed to use something metal, the can is tin (is that conseried a metal?) and i put 2 washers on. on this side i used a stamp from tattered angels, smeared ink and stamppidouns (i truly have no idea how to spell the name)
i added this cool ball ribbon, but first i wanted to spray it green with my spray stuff. so, i'm happliy spraying and it runs out! i do not have the joy of a scrapbook store in my sad little town. so i left it as is, it still looks pretty cool, just not finished :(. now get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

Great job! I kind of like the partially altered trim--a happy accident perhaps? TFS

Pretty cool. Industrial meets rustic! I've never tried stamping with paint, but it is on my to do list. Thank you for the inspiration!
