HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! can you believe it's already here! wow, we made it 31 days!!!!! remember all the dominos that i've made through out the month? well here's 3 more and the finished project! i used the fly stamp from yesterday (someone asked me where i got the stamp from, it came from a scrapbook store that has since closed :(, and i don't remember the company, i'm sorry)

i'm sorry for the pictures, but i tried really hard to get good ones for y'all. the base of my tree is one of my glass candle jars. i shoved a stryofoam ball into the jar. cut out 9 pieces of bailing wire out and glued and shoved them into the ball and spray painted the whole thing black

 i hot glued moss to the base to hide the mess. (for this project i did use good spray paint) i added a bunch of glue, before adding the moss, around the ball to make sure it would sit right.

day 30!!!!!

hello,  just coming in under the wire again. we had family with us this weekend and i almost forgot, it was a crazy weekend. this is made using a stryfoam base and tree thing, i wrapped yarn around the tree form and spray painted the whole thing black. with this project is realized that cheap spray paint is NOT the way to go mid-range price is best. i hot glued some moss to the bottom stamped the fly and glued it on. after taking the picture i think it needs something more, i'm not sure yet. wow, one more day to go! head on over and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

day 29!!!!!

hello and welcome! today i have an altered light switch cover for you! i tried to making into a dead of the dead them using a sugar skull stamp from bombshell stamps. the back is covered in alochol inks, orange, red and green. i stamp the image with staz-on and for the eyes, mirco beads! i just need to seal it, but i wanted to take the picture before i did. wow, only 2 more days left, crazy. head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hello and welcome! again, i'm late my time but early est time ;) today is brought to you by smeared ink. i used the bench and moon from shadow things. the skeleton (now in full size) is from retro art cafe. i embossed the stamps with a blend of black, gold, white and blue embossing powders. the images are from loteria cards. i painted a small canvas black and placed them all together. head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hello! well, i'm almost up 9am my time, but i up way before 9am est so it counts!!!! today i have magnets from yoyo's. i will make yoyo's on car trips, one day i'll be making a quilt and a set of pillows out of them. anyway, i took a couple from my stash, punched a circle out of bat paper and stamp a bat out, added some glitter to the eyes, glued everything on and done! hopefully i'll be able to get something great for y'all tomorrow! head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hey guys! welcome back! i have a tag with the same techinque i used yesterday, if i was going to ruin an ink pad, i'm getting as many tags out of it as i can, and the spider is done the same as the wreath. the spider is from lil bo peep from smeared ink. sorry i'm coping myself today, but i've been crazy busy. i have a new line coming out that i've been working on for about a year now and family coming in, and a party to plan and kiddo stuff and.....the list could go on. sorry i haven't been hopping, i'm hoping to get around sometime soon. by now you know what to do! enjoy! lisa

hello! can you believe that there is only one week left!!! wow! today i have a tag that may not look too halloweeny but is going on a halloween bottle of wine gift, so hopefully that counts. i love how the background turned out on this one. it's a blend of old paper and the blue distressed inks. i do not go lighter to darker when blending inks. i know it messes up the lighter ink, but i get better results when i go darker to lighter. i did the blue ink and while it was still wet i add the old paper. for the owl, i covered white paper with the old paper ink, to clean off the blue ink on it, so it made a cool looking color. (i hope all that makes sense) i used distressed embossing powder for the owl. added some flowers and done! head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hello and welcome, today i'm bringing you a little bottle. at a garage sale i bought this really cool spice holder that came with 12 spice bottles. i got it for the spice bottles :). i inked up a white piece of paper and stamped the spider web from lonely boy and the spider from little bo peep, all from smeared ink.

i added 2 eyelets on each end so i would be able to tie it closed. i had so many issues getting the labels off i wasn't about to put glue on new labels i put on. i like to change things around sometimes, so i thought this would be better. now get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hello! how's life treating you this fine saturday morning? please don't look at this too closely ;) i had some issues with some of the flowers. if i can find some extra time this up coming week i'll fix this. i found how to make this here. i always thought i didn't need a scor-pal, but between this project and couple of others i'm wanting to do, i think one day i'll need to get one. the spider stamp is from smeared ink, i added some fun flock to it so it could be fuzzy. head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hello and welcome! thank you for all the wonderful comments y'all have been leaving for me! they are all highly appreciated! 10 days left and my crafty juices have been running low. between my business, family and life, my mojo is slowing dying :(. hopefully i will recharge on monday. anyway, today is being brought to you by smeared ink. i made an act with 'as death' and 'lonely boy and puff'. i lightly stamped the skeleton background to give it a worn effect. stamped out 4 lonely boy heads and colored them with copics, added ms glitter to the lips and cut them out. pop-dots on the back and done! head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

hello and welcome back! i have yet another domino for you guys and dolls today! someone asked about where i get and what kind of dominos i use, they are good ole' dollar store dominos. i soak them in bleach to get the gloss off of them and decorate them. today i have made a ring. i embossed the domino with the gold embossing powder and then embossed a skull stamp from untiy stamp co. the skull faces are a studio g 97 cent punch. i added a few jewel things with an irock. then glued a ring back to it and done!

hello ladies and germs! what is up! so for today i have some more dominos! for this set i didn't stamp the back, instead i used tissue paper stuff from tattered angels. the raven stamp is from smeared ink. i layered an old book page ripped it then inked it like the first set. sorry this is kinda of a repeat, but it should be the last! oh, the raven's were embossed. please head on over to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa
