day 1!!!!!!!

hello!!! it's day one!!!! day one of what some of y'all maybe asking. the 31 days of halloween!!!! go here for the info and see the side bar for the hop list! (we have amazing people playing along!) this was not supposed to be my first project. since i live in a small town and it's a drive to get to shopping done, this is my first project. my circut mat died and i wasn't able to finish the super awesome one (even though this one isn't to bad). this is a treat bag, i made for a kiddo. the background is leftover paper scraps from another project that will one day be featured on here. on the glitter paper is a half of book tag card holder that i cut in half, stapled the side close, gessoed so you can't see the staples and painted black. the stamp came from unity stamp co.  i colored the stamp with pencils and lightly went over it with a gray colored pencil. and all this was placed on top of a small brown paper bag! now go to the sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa  (sorry about missing the past let's sew wednsedays, they will return in nov!)

I love the retro vibe to this treat bag! It brings back memories of Halloweens gone by. The paper piecing background sets off the softly colored image perfectly!

Lisa... I love your treat bag!!! It is a huge imposition to have to run to the big town, when you live so far away... I completely understand!!! But I think your project is awesome!!! Have a wicked day!
