day 4!!!!!!!

hello! look how far we've made it ;). this was supposed to be my super awesome first day project, but i used glitter paper on my one cricket mat so i wasn't able to cut out the numbers or letters. in case you didn't know glitter sticks to sticky mats and will not come off and then nothing will stick to it. anywho, this entire piece is 11 by 15in, i broke the glass in a frame for a concert poster and couldn't just throw away a perfectly good frame. so, i painted a poster broad with black and green paint. i cut the letters and numbers out with happy hauntings circut cartidge. i cut out 31 2 x 3in papers out of different halloween papers. i took 16 short due date pockets from my shop and cut them in half. left the top part open and stapled the cut side together. i gessoed them all to cover the staples and give them texture. i covered them with black paint. i glued them to the halloween papers and placed the numbers on. the stamps come from the unity stamp co. since there is a pocket on each day, i'm going to put candy in each one (forgot to get it for the picture, sorry). now go to the sidebar and get to hopping!

BTW, have you tried a baby wipe to get rid of that glitter on your mat? Might work I guess it depends upon how fine it is.

I love the imagination you use in all of your projects and this one is wonderful (and sounds like such a lot of work or play as the case may be).

Totally cool! This is one neat-o project, great job! Would one of those sticky lint remover rollers work on that glitter problem??

totally cool. I am a pack rat. I cant throw anything away. and I mean anything. If it cant be recycled the right way I will figure something to do with it.
My latest craze is turning empty 2 liters into pig piggy banks and toilet paper rolls into mini tag books.
