smeared ink thursday!

morning merry sunshines'! how cute is this little pizza box! i would love to share where i got the template, but i don't remember, it's super tiny though. i'm going to try a do a search for a bigger one. i used 2 different sets from smeared ink, candy is dandy and the new digi set femdom.
for the inside, i printed the 'my pet' from femdom really small and sprayed it down with water and pearl ex, i figured it was to small to even try and color, then added a bunch of flowers from prima and some jewels. oh, i almost forgot, i started off by inking the white card stock with red then black, then red again.
for the top, which is put on backwards by the way, i used the heart from candy is dandy, which i stamped on a book page, then i cut out, just the heart part, cause with the awesome black around it, would not fit on the box.
for the bottom, i used a book page, tissue paper, and paper. don't forget about the smeared ink's design team blog. and please, join us at the smeared and smudged forum, and i'm going to enter this into our guest designer jane's challenge, in which you are to make a box, with the theme dark love. oh! and if you enter a challenge you get a free digi, how flippin' cool is that! now go, check them out pick one or all and enter, enter, enter! enjoy! lisa

smeared and smudged v-day blog hop

hello and welcome all to the smeared and smudged forum member blog hop! the challenge was to create something for v-day or loved themed, but we can not use red/pink, no hearts, and nothing cute, unless we make it uncute. well, i'm not the biggest fan of v-day to begin with (i do love my hubby, but why should we rub it in others faces one day out of the year, we try and do it everyday :). this may not be loved themed to some, but it is to me. i made this for hubby as part of a gift (don't like the idea of giving gifts on this day, but hubby gives so must i). hubby doesn't like candy (strange, right?) so i try and get me something he will use. i bought him a little something and made this handy dandy notebook. i used femdom, from smeared ink. it took awhile for me to think of the right sentiment for this. i wanted something that said i love you in my own little way (i have a strange sense of humor). this sentiment can be used for your anniversary, birthday, feel free to borrow it :) enjoy! and get to hopping! lisa

smeared ink thursday!!!!!

hello and welcome to smeared ink thursday! terra went to a place, i believe it's called, creative station, and came back with some awesome stuff. this was a milk carton, that's been cleaned. i painted it with blue, red, and silver paint. then i used chick dig guns set. i had no rhyme or reason with this, i just wanted to make something! i used the bullet holes for the background of the music, i covered the other side with distress embossing powder, before i heated, i ran a stick threw to create lines, then heated. i embossed the hearts then cut them out.
on the heart side, i used a piece of vinyl like material that i tried to cover with embossing powder, then changed my mind, wiped it off and left whatever was in the creases. heated, embossed my hearts, and the spot on the bottom of the blue one, kinda of looks like a gun shot. i stamped 'chicks dig guns' on card stock, distressed the edges and added some jewels. did you know that the smeared ink design team has their own blog? if not, head over here and check us out! smeared ink goodness all in one place! enjoy! lisa

the scrap factory!!!!!

hello! i had an etsy page called madness paper (well, i still have it, but i'm going to be phasing it out). but i have a dream to open a scrapbook store one day, so, if that happens, i would like it to be called, the scrap factory. so i opened another etsy shop called the scrap factory. this is the first kit in my shop!
i'm super exicted about this new shop! i still will be carrying the vintage paper goodies, but i will also be adding lots of great items for you to get creative with. my first kit includes 5 of each item: due date cards, due date pockets, mini tags, ribbon, yarn, mini clothespins, 'lives with wonder' (pre stamped on paper), pre cut book pages, and 10 (5 each) pre-cut paper.
how awesome is this kit!?!  when i started out madness paper, i added things quickly. this time i will be taking my time, so check the shop often to see what is new! there are so many wonderful things that can be made with this kit. bouns is the due date pockets have a sticky back, so they can be used for gift tags, or decorate them up and stick them on a scrapbook page to hold a memory! enjoy! lisa

smeared ink and delicious doodles blog hop!

hello all! welcome to the smeared ink and delicious doodles blog hop! we have a wonderful hop here for you today, so sit back and enjoy! for my project i have used the femdom set, one of the new digi's from smeared ink, hello my pet. i started off by cutting off the clown's body. i added some color to her head piece and lips, then to the clowns eyes and lips. then i colored the entire piece in a mustard color to give it a vintage feel. for the card base, i inked up white card stock with old paper, peach, and blue. for our hop there was a stetch, but i kinda of played with it a little, but i stay kinda of on the road. the orange spots are the mayan ribbon, i just cut out each square thing. now get to hopping! enjoy! lisa
