hello and welcome to the february member blog hop with smeared and smudged forum! today i have an altered canvas ;) i started doing something different then the way this turned out. i had some lotteria cards cute out to make a cool collage, started glued and placing, then didn't like the way it look, it look way better in my head
so, i left what i already glued down, took off the rest and painted. i really like how the imprint of the cut out images showed up under the paint, it was super thick, so i didn't think they would show up. i think the heart came out the best!
this looks so plain in the picture, but the texture in real life comes across great! i can't remember where the stamped image came from, but the camoes are from retro cafe art. i made up a little story about how they were lovers in a past life (image under the paint) but he cheated on her with the other guy in the corner, so she cut out his heart. enjoy! and get to hopping! lisa

Lisa, I love the texture you achieved by painting over the glued down pieces! It may not have been the road you headed down, but it sure got you there nicely!
love the text projecture, it sure is a bloody
coolness. yes texture is great on stuff. nothing ever turns out like we think it in our heads. mine always start different than the ending.
Really cool project!:)
Great save! I love the texture in this. Before reading I thought maybe you cut out images and embossed them into the paper. It turned out really cool!
