Day 12

hello and welcome! here's what's happening if you need to be refreshed. today is smeared ink friday! again i'm working with the awesome skull stamp! i know my projects aren't too halloweeny, but i found them very awesome and fun to make! i found the way to make this here. i really didn't think it would work and a few of mine didn't. i wanted to use this for one, i tried like 3 times but it wouldn't take.
i tried to turn this into a wall hanging, but as always, i didn't measure the deepth of the wood with my nail, so he got a bullet in the brain. i was doing it on the floor and nailed him to the floor, it was pretty funny. now i'm thinking of a different way to use him.
this one is smaller and i turned it into a pendent. i really like the way this one turned out. i rubbed a little to hard so some of the paint came up, i love the distressed look it gives it. i'm hoping to do some hopping this weekend, i missing all the goodness y'all are making! head on over to my sidebar and get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

My sister does those paint transfers and has good luck with them - not me! The last piece that got nailed to the floor - you should set a pot on it or maybe a candelabra. Hope your floor is OK!! Good for your for trying new techniques!

GReat pendant! What a cool technique, thanks for the link. I will have to add some paint daubers to my collection and give this a try.
