Hello and welcome! So for today I have a Halloween inspired project. I took a stamp from studio G and stamped it on some leftover fabric and embroidered the inked part. ( I can't make the pictures go where I want, so I give up and they are now oddly placed)
I sewed a rolling back pin on to a scrap piece of fabric. Antique lace is framed around the image. (Don't beat and flog me, it was damaged, I only cut up the damaged ones). This is layered: skull, lace and backing, it is held together with E6000. Next time, I'm going to sew it together. The lovely Lyneen is next. Enjoy!

nice stamping image! I nearly like more in the unworked status - very versatile!

Nicely done! Combining two of my favorite craft activities - needlework and stamping.
I will look at my stamps with a broader vision now.
Very nice. Love the embroidery. Makes a bold statement. Love the lace.

This brooch is gorgeous. What a novel idea to use a stamp as your embroidery design. Only you would come up with this brilliant idea.
