Day 5 of Creepmas

Hello and welcome! Emily- no worries;)  Dominike - you may steal any ideas of mine! Wiola - sadly I live in Texas, I'm 34 and have seen snow fall 2 times in my life and I hate living off the system, and I'm trying to get off the grid. Emily - the reason behind no water is that the pumps are old and there was a build up of sediment and an employee dumped too many chemicals in (at least that is what we were told). Robyn - I used just the head off this set.  I have been reading your comments daily, but haven't had a chance to answer some things;).
Today I have a gift card holder for you, and I have lost where I got the pattern for it, I believe it came from the scor-pal website. I inked up the back using the red distress ink. (I used the Instead-A-Glove I won from DominoART, man that stuff works great!) Then I stamped my Smeared Ink stamp from the rubber club and colored in it with copics.
I wanted a wax seal to close it, so I used hot glue and a Bombshell Stamp. As you can see, I don't clean my stamps;), that is why this is black on it. After I did it, I thought this could be really hard to get into, but they can always cut it open. Kelli has some fabulous eye candy waiting for y'all. Enjoy!

That background looks fab with the image. Very Creepmassy. LOL I don't clean my stamps either, but I think it's cool that you can see the image so clearly on the seal. xxD

Lisa, this is great! I love the image with the bat carrying the wreath. And on that red distressed background, it really looks cool. I didn't know you could make a seal with hot glue. See, I learned something today. My family is from Texas and I remember my grandmother always talking about how old all the pipes, sewers and wells are.

Great card Lisa. Love the scene you created with the stamps. What a good idea to use hot glue as a "faux" wax seal. Great project for Day 5!

I love the vibrant red distress ink. It's so clever to use hot glue as wax seal. :) I never thought of that.
