DogsMom - No, but that's a good idea
Leigh - You got it!!!!!!
Hello and welcome! We had a busy weekend with our local town's Western Week (if you didn't know I'm from Texas by now, that's a dead giveaway). The background of this one, I'm going to have to try again, it kinda of looks like skin. I put gel medium on really thick, then added packing paper and then another layer of gel medium on top. When it was dry I added distress stain on top. The images were heat embossed on top of my 'junk' paper. When I paint and spray and play, I do it on top of paper, so I can reuse it later. The wicked one is from studio G and the dragonfly is the Angel Co.
Teresa has something awesome waiting for your eyeballs! Enjoy! Lisa

Thanks for sharing your experimentations and interesting results with us.
I have stacks of various wrapping papers too good to discard. I'm going to try some of your techniques.
It does look like skin..eek! What a wonderful process and the images are fabulous stamped on that "work" paper!!
The background is fab, looks like real skin and the sentiment is great
OMG! that so totally looks like skin! Creeps me out BIG TIME. I love it! Makes that sweet dragonfly look sinister. xxD
Wicked in a cute way - yes. Love the background, but it does look a bit like real skin - great effect for a more sinister project.
Ohhh truly brilliant! That super sweet dragonfly is hiding something veryyyyyy sinister, don't be deceived by sweetness!
Omg that background is creepy! I have to try that! It is like marble....or skin.....wicked.
