Day 28!!!!!!

Maureen - Glad your back!
NanB - I know that word!! I said it out loud after reading your comment. I can't spell it either. Thank you!;)

Hello and welcome! Remember Day 19? Well, I did the same thing here for the background. I'm starting myself a junk journal/keep myself somewhat organized book. So, I altered up a due date holder thing to hold notes and such.
The little pendants say remember and were stamp on cork paper. The skull stamp is from Studio G. This page is the back of my book.
Here it is before I started.
What I worked on is the inside of the book. I think I might leave the outside as it is.
Here is a tutorial with crappy pictures on how I did it.
I put a layer of gel medium and then crumble packing paper.
Not all the pieces are glued down, which is ok, cause......
I add another layer of gel medium on top. Then I went crazy with distress stains.
There's a 99.99% chance that y'all will not see the finished book on this hop. Sorry, but the finished product will show up on my blog at some point.
Teresa has something awesome for y'all!

The little pocket and card remind me of checking books out from my elementary school library.

I just discovered cork paper. Thanks for showing me how to start using it.

Sooo glad someone got it! I can say it and was almost screaming it at my computer cause it is smarter than I am! Love that you took a red dull book and this is just the back page? It is wonderful that technique is awesome! Love the cork sentiment!
