hello, i made this card for the smeared ink forum, video challenge, the video is from slipknot's vermillion pt 1. in this video, there was a girl, a beach, and a butterfly. ok, so that wasn't the only things in this video, but those are the items i drew inspiration from. i used shadow thingys from smeared ink and the butterfly came from tac, and the beach scene came from martin handford. guess what!!!!! tomorrow starts the 12 days of Christmas, smeared ink style!!!! here's all the info, and you could win something!!!! today is the last day for my giveaway, so leave a comment, the winner will be announced sometime in the afternoon. enjoy! lisa

smeared ink thurs, but a couple of days late
hello, sorry i've been MIA, but we are really trying hard to get into our new house, and business has picked up crazy due to the holiday. i'm super exicted about that, but i wasn't expecting it. i'm truely sorry this is late, but better late then never. so, i used symbology of angels from smeared ink. on this card, i'm showing how my muse makes my mind a huge cluster f*** all the time, which sometimes, is not a bad thing. the flower is made from a map, then a old photo slide, sheet music and some vintage book pages finish off the card. enjoy! lisa

hello merry sunshine's! welcome to the smeared ink blog hop featuring kenny k images! i was lucky enough to use 'star' for our hop. i'm sorry about the picture, our outside weather hasn't been very good for taking pictures. i had so much fun with this image! i printed her out a few times just so i could color each one different. i had colored her hair several different colors, but in the end i when with white hair, i really like the way it looks. with my card i wanted star's colors to be almost monochromatic. and since star has already opened her present, i added a small present in the corner with the no peeking sign. now get to hopping! enjoy! lisa

sketchyness
hello, i made this for a couple of sketches, smeared ink forum and rubber stamp chat forum, kenny k is sponoring the smeared ink sketch and smeared ink is sponoring the rubber stamp sketch! the same sketches are used for both! so one card, double duty! i used candy is dandy from smeared ink. i colored my image with copics (which i'm still learning to use before i buy a set). i painted the cherry with red arlic paint and the wooden circle with green arclic paint. i'm going to need to start using brighter colored paper or something. this card looks great in real life, but here is looks a little muted. oh well, i really like it! enjoy! lisa

smeared ink blog hop!
hello guys and welcome to the smeared ink design team new release blog hop! have you seen the new releases yet? dude, what are you waiting for, get over there! aren't they just flippin' AWESOME. you can preorder now and they will be shipped on nov. 30. for this wonderful hop i got to play with occasional grumpie done up turkey style! i'm so sorry about the picture, the weather has been wonderfully winter, so natural light was out. i did try really hard though, but it kept coming out sad and muted. the sentiment says "don't be a turkey", since it looks a little shiny/blurry. my turkey was colored with gray, blue and brown pencils. i made the flower from tissue paper. here's the hoppers.

HAPPY VETERANS DAY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY! THANK A VETERAN TODAY! hello again! just to let you wonderful people know that i could be in and out for the next couple of weeks, we are remolding and moving. not as much fun as i had pictured in my head, damn you hgtv! i made this for smeared ink's rock and rolla challenge (but i don't want you or anyone else to play, cause i want to win the set :). i made this from inspiration from david bowie's 'i'm afraid of americans' song. i used chicks dig guns from smeared ink. i tried to color her dress to match mr bowie's shirt. i love where's waldo, have forever, and one of my books died, i cried, then ripped it up. enjoy! lisa (didn't mean for the gun to be pointing at the baby)

christmas already
hello, i'm determined to make all my christmas cards this year (of course i said this last year too, and not one person got a christmas card from me, it's the thought that counts right?) i figure if i start out early then maybe like 10 people will get cards. so i made this for stampitcrazy challenge. i used a stampitcrazy stamp, and a tac stamp. in the prima flower i added red beads, so it would look pretty. enjoy! lisa

creepy
hello, good morning my little green graicas! (space ghost!) well at haunted design house it is freaker's free-for-all and general creepyness. i started thinking what creeps me out, some children and ice cream truck music. i'm waiting on some stamps to come in that would be perfect for creepy ice cream truck people. but my mail person hates me and likes to hold things i want for weeks. so i made this, the picture is from an old book, so are the words, the spider web is from smeared ink's lonely boy. i just inked up the back of the atc! enjoy! lisa

it's thursday.....
hello, how's life? today is smeared ink thursday!!!! i made two handy dandy notebooks. one with lonely boy and the other with lil' grumpies. lonely boy i made to help me keep track of challenges. i love to enter, but i forget when they are due and what i need to do to enter. i'm not sure what i'll use the grumpie for, but most likely it will be another catch all notebook. when something comes to me then it gets placed in there, then i end up forgetting where i put it. i made the grumpie using alcohol ink covered velum. remember the ornament i made awhile back? well, when i made them, i dripped the ink over the ornament, which was on a piece of velum, so i can reuse the velum. waste not want not. oh, before i forget, there's cool things going on over at the smeared ink forum, so come over and join us, i promise we are good people. enjoy! lisa
